Owned and operated by Brian D. Anderson, PLS 29800009 a graduate of Vincennes University with duel degrees in Land Surveying and Architectural Drafting. After graduation, Brian started working in the surveying field as a draftsman/surveyor in a large Engineering/Surveying firm specializing in highway projects. He left there to help startup a small Surveying firm focusing on boundary and site design/layout, taking projects from inception to completion.
In 1997, Brian pursued an opportunity with an Underground Coal Mine becoming the Mine Surveyor and later advancing to Mine Engineer, once becoming a Registered Professional Land Surveyor with the State of Indiana in 1998. He started AS & D that year as a part-time business while still working in the Mining profession. In May 2016, Brian left the Mine and opened AS & D, Inc. full-time to follow his dream of self-employment.
